Product Introduction

 

Plastic Granulating Line is a device used for plastic recycling, modification granulation, or direct pelletizing after extrusion. It uses air cooling instead of traditional water cooling and is suitable for heat-sensitive materials (such as HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, etc.) or plastic granulation scenarios where water washing is not required. This machine can granulate waste materials and scraps such as plastic film, stretch film, and bubble film for reuse in production, making it the latest ideal granulation equipment for plastic recycling.

Workflow

Melting & Extrusion

Plastic raw material is melted and homogenized in the extruder, then forced through a multi-hole die head to form continuous strands.

Strand Cutting

The extruded strands are immediately cut into uniform pellets by a high-speed rotary cutter at the die face.

Cooling & Solidifying

The hot pellets are rapidly cooled and solidified by an air or water stream to prevent sticking and set their final shape.

Drying & Collection

The cooled pellets are dried (if water-cooled) and then conveyed as the finished product for packaging or further use.

1.Extrusion System: Employs a single-screw extruder with a cylinder-operated feed inlet.

2.Extrusion Die: Multi-hole die: The melt is extruded into strips (1-3mm in diameter) through the die holes.

3.Pelletizing System: A high-speed rotating cutter (adjustable speed) cuts the plastic strips into pellets (1-3mm in length).

4.Air Cooling System: Cold air is directly blown onto the pelletizing area to quickly cool the pellets and prevent sticking, then the finished pellets are stored in the storage silo.
